I am Jonathon Alford, a Brookhaven, MS native. I began my photography career at the Daily Leader in Brookhaven, and later to the Commercial Dispatch in Columbus, MS.
Since 1999, I have captured everything imaginable from the smiles on children's faces to the tears of a sports team's loss. In that time I collected over 30 individual awards for my photography, including a Photo of the Year award from both the Associated Press, and the Mississippi Press Association.
